:/Д«ollag is a terrible boss so that's not surprising. Oh boy really smashed into a wall trying to kill Bollag. Trying to port over the old computer's files to the new one rather than downloading everything all over again probably caused more problems than it saved there are at least 4 Grim Dawn save game directories between my SSD/HDDs right now. I also just figured out where the crap the actual save game directory is. It works flawlessly at 1440, but trying to stream through the Steam Link was causing the game to not recognize the cursor, even with a mouse+keyboard set up on the Steam Link.

Now that the controller patch is out I'm going to see if forcing the game to stick to 1080p will un-break whatever UI crap happened when I put together a new computer. Even just being able to stun/freeze/otherwise immobilize bosses for half a second would vastly increase build viability. Can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out that bosses can't be affected by anything but damage. What would really help is letting any sort of CC work to any extent on bosses. It's to the point where the Oleron devotion skill is still the best for a Cadence gunslinger since enemies will end up in your face sooner or later. Lessening up on monsters having Blitz could help. In that, not matter what class combination you pick or what skills you're using, if it's a good build, it *usually* turns into some variety facetanking bosses right now. One thing I'd like them to work on in the future is figure out a way to make gameplay more dynamic in terms of glass cannon vs facetanker. Yeah, you point out some definite strengths of this game. I always come back with a few rare/epic every run. Whenever I replace a piece of gear it is almost always a trade-off rather than a straight upgrade. Every time I come to town I usually replace 1-2 pieces of gear, a good steady progression

The inventory is just the right size to fill up with loot in a reasonable time. Many builds are viable, but if you put some effort in you can make builds that are better than others.

The balance in Grim Dawn feels very well tuned. That alone would be a lot, there are tones of builds within each class, but you have devotions on top of that too!Д«uilding my character up is giving me flashbacks to calculating the most optimal builds in 3.5 edition D&D, in a good way. Picking two classes is a major game changer, turning 8 classes into effectively 32. This is the first game I have played that feels to me like a genuine improvement over modded Diablo 2, like Eastern Sun and MedianXL. I know, right? The character development system in this game is nothing short of amazing.
